History
Mike Squadron was initially raised at NDA wing, Ghorpuri for the 1st term Cdts in 1978. At Khadakwasla Mike squadron came into being as part of Main Academy in spring term 1991 with 80th course as the senior most course. VI term cadets from all over the academy were selected
and distributed in all the squadrons of newly raised no. 4 Battalion..
The term at mike squadron began amid confusion and disorder as everyone was from different squadron and no one knew each other. After a long time first term cadets were also present as the then NDA wing at Ghorpuri, Pune was discontinued.

Traditions |
- On dinner table juniors are served before seniors.
- Special incentive like midterm mood is given to juniors who perform well and bring laurels to the Sqn.
- On holidays all are welcomed in Pandey hall (Ante room).
