  • SUPPORT BY THE NDAAAP FOR THE NDA CADETS

    11. The NDAAAP Managing Committee has been exploring areas in which it could make a meaningful contribution to benefit Cadets.
    12. In response, the Dy Comdt NDA , has proposed the following for our consideration:-
“Cadets who join from economically weak sections of our Society.
May I request that the issue be considered by the NDA Alumni, to create a ‘Corpus’ that will be able to provide these cadets financial assistance which could be set at a minimum of Rs 400/-, per month (amount given to cadet under GFA scheme).
I do believe that such an assistance given to the cadets by the NDA Alumni Association will go a long way in assisting them in their activities at NDA”.
    13. The NDAAAP Managing Committee supports the proposal. The requirement shall be Rs 400 per month per cadet for 4 yrs (the money will be recovered from the cadet in the 4th yr).
    14. Requirement per cadet.
    Rs 400x10 (months) = 4000 (per yr) x 4yrs= Rs 16,000.
    15. NDA has identified 35 cadets in need of assistance.
    16. It is proposed that, to begin with, the NDAAAP (in view of its limited membership), provides a one time Corpus of 1.6 lacs to assist a minimum of 10 cadets.
    17. Each member will need to contribute Rs 1000/-. Those members, who are financially well placed, may consider an enhanced contribution, so as to benefit more cadets. The proposal is open to all NDA alumni (whether they are members of the Association or not).
    18. You are requested to send a demand draft/local cheque for Rs 1000/- or more, in favour of NDA Association Pune, addressed to-
